Register for Religious Education Classes

The deadline to register for SKD Religious Education classes is August 15th.

St. Katharine Drexel offers faith formation classes for children in grades 1-8 through our Religious Education Program. As parents, you are the primary teachers of passing the Catholic faith to your children. Our program serves to supplement those teachings using the Diocesan curriculum and supplemental materials.

Our classes for the 2022-2023 school year will run from September 18, 2022 through May 21, 2023 and are held at Battlefield High School on Sunday mornings from 9:10 AM to 10:15 AM.

Attendance at Weekly Mass and Holy Days of Obligation is required for those enrolled in their Sacramental year for First Communion (2nd grade) and Confirmation (8th grade).

Please see our Faith Formation page for complete details and to register!

Prayer Quilts

Prayer Quilts

With the help of the SKD Ladies, the Knights of Columbus are providing “Prayer Quilts” for parish members to support those in need for prayers that will come wrapped in a quilt, blessed by Father Murphy, to show the love and blessings of our faith community.

Requests for Prayer Quilts can be presented to the Knights by contacting Ellen Sivick at the SKD Office esivick@saint-stephen.org. If you would like to be a part of this project in any way, please send an email to SKDLadies@gmail.com or Bob Guiney at gk16793@vakofc.org.
