  • Religious Education Program

Give your children a strong start and foundation in faith. Saint Katharine Drexel Mission offers religious education classes using the Diocesan curriculum and supplemental materials for children grades kindergarten through high school. Confirmation preparation encompasses both 7th and 8th grade. The program helps children know and understand more deeply God’s immense love for each of us. Through the program children will learn what it means to be a faith-filled Catholic and how they can apply these values to their everyday lives. Classes meet weekly during the school year on Sunday mornings between Masses at Bull Run Middle School located at 6308 Catharpin Road in Gainesville, VA. Catechist (teacher) training is on-going. Other volunteers are also needed to support this important ministry of our church community. Please contact Martha Prokop for additional information at (703) 754-8444 or via
