St. Katharine Drexel Mission offers faith formation opportunities for children in kindergarten through high school through our Religious Education Program. We also offer periodic adult faith formation classes.
Religious Education Program – Registration Now Open for 2018-2019
Give your children a strong start and foundation in faith. Saint Katharine Drexel Mission offers religious education classes using the Diocesan curriculum and supplemental materials for children grades kindergarten through high school. Confirmation preparation encompasses both 7th and 8th grade. The program helps children know and understand more deeply God’s immense love for each of us. Through the program children will learn what it means to be a faith-filled Catholic and how they can apply these values to their everyday lives.
Catechist (teacher) training is on-going. Other volunteers are also needed to support this important ministry of our church community. Please contact the St. Katharine Drexel Mission Office for additional information at (703) 754-8444.

Please note that religious education classes are only available to registered members of St. Katharine Drexel Mission. If your child is new to the SKD Religious Education program, please submit a copy of his or her birth certificate with the completed registration forms. Remember to include your parish number! If not registered, please submit a SKD Registration Form.
Religious education classes are held at Bull Run Middle School, 9308 Catharpin Road, Gainesville, VA from 9:15-10:15AM.
