St. Katharine Drexel Mission offers faith formation classes for children in grades 1-8 through our Religious Education Program.

  • Religious Education Program (2020-2021)

Give your children a strong start and foundation in faith. Saint Katharine Drexel Mission offers religious education classes using the Diocesan curriculum and supplemental materials for children in grades 1-8. Confirmation preparation encompasses both 7th and 8th grade. The program helps children know and understand more deeply God’s immense love for each of us. Through the program children will learn what it means to be a faith-filled Catholic and how they can apply these values to their everyday lives.

Catechist (teacher) training is on-going. Other volunteers are also needed to support this important ministry of our church community. Please contact Kendall Parker, Director of Religious Education, for additional information at (703) 754-8444.

To register for the St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church Religious Education Program, please see the St. Stephen the Martyr website for forms and the latest information.
