2022 Angel Tree

It seems early to be thinking about Christmas, but we are already a little behind schedule. In
collaboration with our area School Counselors, we hope to
provide a bit of Christmas Cheer to
students in need. The Angel Tree ministry
coordinates with School Counselors who identify area students who could benefit. They then relay the needs to our
community, collect donations, and return them to the appropriate school
counselors. We try to take Black Friday into
consideration, so we have to move fast!
Please consider volunteering to be part of this
volunteer ministry.

Volunteer as a Lector

Love to Read and want a way to
help the SKD Community??
Why not volunteer as a lector??
With the addition of the 8:00 AM Mass, our community is in need of additional lectors to read at both the 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM Masses.

Lector books will be provided, and the commitment is no more than once every 4-6 weeks, with enough volunteers!

Send your questions or interest inquiries to Melanie Shipley – mshipley@sms.com

Love to Sing? Join the Choir

We are also seeking substitute pianists, for both Mass times, who will be paid a stipend. For more information, please see choir member Kathy Cumber after Mass or email kathy.cumber@gmail.com.
