Walking with Purpose Bible Study

Walking with Purpose: The Modern Woman’s Guide to the Bible is coming to St. Katharine Drexel Mission! This special Bible Study will be held at the SKD Mission Office on Thursday mornings from 8:30-10:00AM from October 4, 2018 to April 4, 2019.

Our Lady of Fatima Praesidia – Special Mass

The Legion of Mary Praesidium at St. Katharine Drexel invites Active and Auxiliaries Legionaires to join us at Mass as we honor our Blessed Mother & Mediatrix, Mary Queen of May and Mother of the Church. Mass will be celebrated by Father Christopher Murphy on Friday, May 18 at 10:30 AM at the Mission Office (4100 Mill Creek Road, Haymarket). Luncheon to be served immediately following. Pilgrim Virgin Statue Visitation Program

The Legion of Mary Praesidium at St. Katharine Drexel has purchased a Pilgrim Virgin Statue for our parish. The Statue is intended to make its way to the homes of our Parishioners for weekly visits. The visitation promised to bring abundant graces from Our Lady to your family. If you are interested in hosting the Pilgrim Virgin Statue or would like more information, please contact Mary Banwarth at mary@banwarth.com.

Retreat for Married Couples

Save the date … A Retreat Day for Married Couples will be led by Fr. Paul Scalia, Episcopal Vicar for Clergy, on Saturday, July 7 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Gainesville, VA, from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Experience a profound and reflective retreat including talks, Adoration, Confession, and spiritual time with your spouse; the retreat will conclude with Mass.

Lenten Fish Fry

What a great turnout last Friday evening for the Father Jon O’Brien Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Fry! Our thanks to the Knights for sponsoring this wonderful community event and for the George Brent Council at All Saints for the use of their Knights Hall. Can’t wait for next year’s event!

Spotlight on the Arts Summer Day Camps are offered within the Arlington Diocese for families seeking excellence in Theatre and Art education within a Catholic environment.

Drama Bootcamp introduces Improvisational Comedy, Acting, Movement, and Theatre Games to young people K-8.
Camp Broadway offers daily instruction to 4th-12th graders in Singing, Dance, Acting, and Production leading to a final showcase.
Arts & Crafts Fun Camp engages our youngest campers in creative projects intended to teach new skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Art Explorer Camp challenges older students who seek to develop greater skills with more elaborate projects and instruction.
